Each course lasts 7 full days.
Our courses are very practical and hands-on. You will already be handling a professional camera and editing set on day one and going out into the field on the second day.
Our teachers are experienced directors and technicians from Dutch and English television with great track records (see teacher page).
We teach both technical and content skills. You will be taught camera, sound, lighting, drone operation and editing on the technical side. Regarding content, you will learn how to direct, research, write a shooting script and interview.
We will tailor our teaching to your individual needs, but also make sure that you acquire the overall learning necessary.At the end of the course you will have learnt all the skills necessary to make a short film.
You will work as a team with your fellow students (8 participants maximum for each course) and make a short film together.
Your name will be on the credits and you will be able to use it to further your career. We will also provide a certificate.
For a lot of our students, this has facilitated their entry into further film education, journalism or a business where video making skills are required.
Classes are in the village school (photo below), but mostly we will be out in the field filming.
Each course is ended with a festive dinner!
